The assignment was to assist the client in ensuring they understood, owned and therefore could ensure optimal benefits realisation from their new ePMA system.
Led by our Partner working closely with the supplier JAC, we used our in-house approach and toolkit, which is based on best practice methodologies and developed by our experienced practitioners using their real frontline experience. The toolkit includes benefits definition, mapping and metrics proformas which we use in partnership with clients’ staff, seeking to transfer skills and increase clients’ in-house capability in future.
The ePMA Pharmacist at The Norfolk and Norwich NHS Foundation Trust said:
“ We were faced with the task of implementing the JAC ePMA system and at the same time tracking and monitoring the benefits we had anticipated to report back to the DOH. The consultants from IT Health worked with us to set up the methodology and a tracking sheet. All we need to do each month now is put in some basic data and the savings are calculated. This has saved us a huge amount of time and we have enjoyed working with the consultants”
